i'm here because i'm procrastinating again. hehe.. i'm trying to write this 500-word statement of purpose on why i want to go on exchange. i didn't think it was going to be this hard, but it's hard. i always feel like i'm saying the corniest stuff cos i'm just trying to suck up to the exchange ppl at uni of michigan to try and accept me for the exchange. *sigh* i dunno how other ppl have done it. anyways, that's why i'm here! clear up my head and then lock horns with the mini-essay again. ;)
monday night is always a big tv-watching night with aussie idol and queer eye. aussie idol last night was full of emotions and surprise. i haven't liked levi in the past couple of weeks, but my heart goes out to him last night. friggin mark holden! grrr... i've always hated mark, my fave judge is dicko. dicko is always brave enough to say whatever is the reality regardless of what the audience wants to hear. mark really went too far last night when he tried to save his skin and tried to take back what he said on monday nite. sheesh! it was unfair that paulini is up there, but he didn't have to say, i don't mean what i said last night, ur not really a star.. man, talk about pushing someone down even further!
my theory on why paulini was on the bottom three (and levi last week) is because people don't vote for them because they think that those two are already popular enough without having to have their support. so like u would vote for the person u think might get voted out this week and u want to save them. but then because everyone thinks like that, paulini didn't get votes y'noe? my pick of idol to boot last night is millsie. he was RUDE on monday nite towards dicko. dicko only said what he said cos it was true and cos he wanted to help millsie, but millsie not only turned down the offer in public but he also totally humiliated dicko. rudeness i say! and err, the eyeliner thing was just a bit too un-manly for me.
yesterday i went with my big bro, andri, to oxford st to go to the crumpler shop. they've got such cool bags but s'damn expensive! i want to get a bag for my other bro for xmas but i'm going to have to think twice on that cos it was $135. the bags are cool tho, it's not like ur paying just for the brand, the quality and design is good too.
i also had a group meeting for ibus yesterday. wel, half group meeting at 2, then another half group meeting at 6. hehe.. see, cos there's 4 ppl in my group: me, melody, nelson, and stephanie. steph couldn't make it to the 2 o'clock meeting cos she had an essay due, so me, mel and nelson met at 2, and then i met up with steph for body combat at 5 and then we had a mini-meeting after body combat. i'm well chuffed with the work we got done yesterday, we managed to come up with how we're going to do the report and we also allocated everyone things to do. so we pretty much did all the organising in one meeting. woo hoo! :) having a good group makes things soooo much easier donchathink? yup yup.
body combat was good too, i haven't been for aaages, so i was a bit rusty and unco, but felt good after a workout.
anyways, better get back to that statement of purpose.
