i went shopping today! yayy!
i had an ibus lecture from 9 til abt 10.40 cos the lecturer finished earlier. it was good cos he gave us hints abt the exam too which is always welcomed. :) then i went into the uni bookshop cos i haven't been there for ages. there were so many great books that i wanted to get there. but i settled on getting two books, one for angela and one for isil. i guess i got the books not on the basis of who it was for, but who it was going to be enjoyed the most by. okay, i've probably confused everyone. what i meant was that i didn't any books for myself cos the two books that i got would be enjoyed by angie and isil more than if i'd picked out another book for myself. ya get? apologies if i'm still confusing u..
anyways, after that i headed to get to get lunch and i went up to me & ira's normal sitting place in the second level of the webster building. at abt quarter past 12, ira came and then we went to get her some lunch. we ended up staying at the colonnade to let ira eat and do our work at the same time. i went at twenty past 2 to go to the exchange interview i was meant to have with an exchange advisor. when i got to the exchange centre, the door was locked and there was only one lady sitting at the table in the computers area, so i spoke to her and told her that i have an appointment with simon. and she replied saying 'so simon wants u to see him?' duh! u guys were the one who told me i had to meet with him, and since i have an appointment, i guess he should be expecting me.. and then she asked me my top three exchange options, and after i told her, she just told me that i actually don't need to have a meeting. grawwwrrr!! i've stayed at uni since 11 just to be told that i didn't have to. i could've gone home and had lunch! double grawwwrr!!
so then i went back to the colonnade and bummed with ira again, and then when she went to class at three, i walked down to the bus stop and caught a bus to central to meet up with nitso and eggy to get naty's pressie. i can't write here yet what we got her cos she might read this b4 satday. *waves to naty if she's reading this* but i should blog abt the party after satday. :D after we're done getting her pressie we girls looked for stuff to wear for the party. i sooo don't have anything to wear. i saw this reaaalllyyyy pretty skirt at FCUK. it's brown and has like embroidery all over it as borders and all flowery at the bottom. it was soo pretty, and it fitted me pretty well too. the only problem is that it's $160. nooooo! i'm still thinking abt the skirt now. awh.. even if i get it i won't wear it to naty's, cos it's a skirt and naty's is a night outing, so it's prolly going to be cold. but i do need clothes for summer! so i guess it's going on my wish list.
oh! and i think i've maxed my credit card for the first time ever. cos when i tried to pay smth with it today it was declined.. O_o uh-oh... eeeeeek!! my momma's gon' kill me. i haven't spent tHAT much this month. or have i? awh..
